Fish tape helps electricians (and skilled DIYers) feed cable through walls, but the lack of light can make things challenging. The latest in, “why hasn’t this been done before?” Klein has fostered a solution with the Glow in the Dark Fish Tape, which comes in two lengths. So, what else does it bring to the table?

This Klein fish tape is available in both 20-foot (50550) and 40-foot (50660) options. They both feature fiberglass on the tape itself as well as a nylon tip. Klein designed the housing to be clear to let the glow-in-the-dark material charge while you’re not using it.

Speaking of the housing, the fish tape is fully removable so you have as much maneuverability as possible. When you’re done using it, there’s also an alignment mark on the housing to ensure easy re-installation.
